Pharmacy Technician Wage Adjustment Update

Good news… we are one step closer to getting the wage adjustment for the Pharmacy Tech’s.  The Arbitrator sided with the Union (OPSEU Central) that there has been a substantial change to the job content of Pharmacy Tech’s and now the parties have been tasked with negotiating the new wage rate Centrally. Once Central has a new wage rate we will be able to seek that for our Pharmacy Tech’s in the next round of bargaining.

Update on OPSEU 101/HDGH Ratification Vote

Good evening,

We have received some feedback from a number of members about being on vacation and out of town on Monday July 16/18.  As a result we have added a sixth option.

Early vote on Friday July 13/18.  We will have ballot boxes and the ability to answer questions at the OPSEU office from 11:30am – 4:00pm.  Come during you lunch. 

    

Due to some members requesting an information session re: the ratification vote we have added another session for Information Session/Voting this will take place at the OPSEU office:

Monday July 16/18 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.  Ballot boxes will be closed at 7:30.  The rest of the schedule will not change as posted below.

OPSEU Local 101 Collective Agreement Wage Rates (Windsor Regional Hospital)

As of the pay end date of May 18, 2018 (starting May 19, 2018) the new OPSEU collective agreement wage rates are now in the HR system.  That means that all hours paid starting May 19, 2018 are at the new wage rate for each employee.   Those wage rates will show on the pay deposit for May 24 (pay stub that is sent May 23)

The retro payments for the wage rates for all hours paid for the period from April  1, 2016 to May 18, 2018 are being calculated and processed for the pay deposit date of July 5, 2018 (four (4) full pay periods from May 3 (ratification date).

OPSEU 101-WRH Contract Update

Hello Everyone!

The 2016-2019 collective agreement has been ratified by the Employer.

Some of the changes contained in the collective agreement need a little lead time to implement.

Part Time scheduling by seniority and the change to 12 hours required to be scheduled off between shifts will begin with the posted schedule on May 18th which covers the period of June 16th to June 29th and continues on a go forward basis.

PT staff will be contacted in the next couple of weeks by their managers to get their shift commitment. This is your opportunity to let the employer know your ideal number of shifts. The minimum PT commitment is 4 shifts per pay and you can request up to 10 shifts per pay which will be allocated by seniority. Remember, ALL part time staff are guaranteed 4 shifts per pay.

Overtime by seniority will begin immediately unless it has already been scheduled.

Increases to vacation entitlements for those who are eligible are a work in progress and we will let you know when to expect to see those changes implemented.

WRH Negotiation Update

Hello OPSEU L.101 Members,

The Negotiating team wanted to update everyone that we have met several times with the Employer working toward a new collective agreement.  (The current Collective Agreement expired March 31,2016.)

OPSEU 101 (HDGH) Collective Agreement Now Posted (Draft)

The OPSEU 101 Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare Collective Agreement is now posted online. This is an unsigned draft copy that still needs to be signed by the Employer. Once this has taken place, the signed copy will be posted online.
