Urgent call for OPSEU local 101 members to

attend a brief meeting!

When: Thursday, March 12th, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Meeting will be short!

Where: OPSEU Office on 3005 Marentette Ave.(behind Devonshire mall)

Unfortunately our recent March 3rd general membership meeting did not have enough members to reach quorum. We need this minimum number of attendees in order to elect delegates and alternates to attend the OPSEU convention in Toronto. Convention is a yearly event that brings together representatives from OPSEU locals from across the province. These representatives vote and make decisions that impact you! We need our regional and sector voices to be heard! Please do your best to attend this very short meeting. We have several members who would like to attend convention and without quorum only our president will be able to attend. Anyone who wants to be a delegate or alternate and cannot be present at the meeting may submit an email ASAP to our local president Susan Bohnert Hamelin saying you would like to be considered a delegate and/or alternate. Here are the details of this year’s convention:

Thursday May 21, 2020 9:00 AM – until Saturday May 23 at noon

Halls A and B of the Metro Toronto Convention Center, 250 Front Street West, Toronto ON
